Andrew Leitch is home to wooded hiking trails, a playground, and sports courts all in one spot!

Andrew Leitch Park is a large wooded park with plenty of hiking trails, a playground, a basketball court, baseball/softball fields, and a soccer field. Neabsco Greenway is the main hiking trail here and has a 1-mile single-track trail and a 4-mile double-wide trail. All of the marked trails are made of crushed gravel, so it is not the best trail for biking, scootering, and strollers. This trail is good for all skill levels and has lots to discover. Families and novice hikers should make sure to stay on the main trails as this park is heavily wooded and only the main trail is marked. Skilled hikers may consider safely adventuring down some of the park's less popular trails for a more challenging hike. The Neabsco Creek runs through this park and is a fun place to stop and explore. There is plenty of wildlife and plants to look at all throughout the park. The whole trail is well shaded, so sunscreen is not necessary but always good to have.

Waterworks Park, a paid aquatic playground with a pool, water slides, and kids splash area, is also located in this park. There are two free parking lots here, one smaller one at the southern part of the park by Miles Court and the main one at Waterworks Park.  By the main parking lot, you can find all the other amenities that this park has to offer.

There are two playgrounds tucked behind the water park, one for younger kids (around 2-5) and one for older kids. The playground is pretty standard, with things to climb, swing, and slide on.There are no baby swings, but there is an ADA swing. Pavilions and picnic tables are right next to this playground and are a great place for a picnic lunch.

The basketball courts, softball/ baseball field, and soccer field are also around the playground and parking lot, making it a go-to spot for everything you could want in a park.
