We really enjoyed this awesome little park!

Badger Park is a cool little stop. I've driven by it many times, and honestly never even knew it was there! And I certainly never knew they have a lacrosse field here....what a cool feature! I actually think it would be super fun to come here just to watch a game of lacrosse, as I certainly don't know how to play it.

This park features a nice playground, and the main structure is really cool for the kids - it's shaped like a big ship. It's even complete with a ship's wheel that the kids can steer, and a huge climbing structure that forms the bow. So, for ship and shipwreck-loving kiddos, such as mine, this makes any playground quite a bit more magical. It certainly encourages seaworthy imaginations to run wild, and I love that! Whether they're pirates on the high seas, saving lives on the Titanic, or fishing for lobster, I think the whole idea is quite magical for kiddos.

This playground has nice, new equipment, which is always a plus. I've now visited enough playgrounds that I can tell how old or new the equipment is, and this was definitely new. The tennis courts are also currently being upgraded. The playground featured many swings, climbing structures including the awesome bow of the ship (pictured in this review), slides, ladders, stairs, and other usual suspects. The big hits for my kids were the surprise fireman's pole (yes, this is a totally big deal for the girls!) and a sort of spinning tree thing. The spinner had little seats and the girls had to be spun while sitting, but they went absolutely crazy for this structure.

This park has plenty of lot parking for free, plus regular non-Porto Potty restrooms, which is awesome. This park is just really great overall from amenities to a great location.
