Baker Park is a neighborhood playground in Cammack Village which is a community of just under 1,000 residents in Little Rock. A popular neighborhood spot, Baker Park is well maintained by the city of Cammack and some dedicated volunteers. Many people walk to this playground, especially people who live in neighboring communities. There is street parking, just be conscientious of the no parking zones.

There are two playground structures with one being more of a challenge than the other. The structure that is more age-appropriate for a toddler has shade which is so beneficial for hot, Arkansas days. The baby swings are also in the shade.  Baker Park has a large, grassy area that is perfect for free play. We often bring a soccer ball and our pop up goal. There is a full-court for basketball, a few picnic tables and a fish pond. Don’t forget a quarter to feed the fish!

There is no public restroom so plan ahead. It is usually more crowded after school hours and on the weekends. Overall, it is a pretty quiet playground. The closest restroom is in the Heights. Boulevard Bread has a changing table (and good coffee, sandwiches and treats!)
