Beckett Park is a 150-acre property with unique playgrounds, trails, picnic shelters, fishing ponds and much more.

Beckett Park offers an awesome pioneer-influenced playground with a soft, synthetic material on the ground. The swings are accessible to all by offering a multitude of sizes and security straps for some kiddos. The bouncing horsies are a favorite and two separate climbing structures to accommodate both toddlers and older kids. There is also a "natural" playground on the west side of Beckett Park which utilizes the terrain of the park. Some of the play structures have shade from the sun so kiddos can keep out of the heat if need be.

Don't hesitate to bring scooters or bikes to ride along the perimeter of the equipment. Bring ice skates if you are visiting during the winter, the park offers an ice skating rink for skating on your own! There are a multitude of paved and unpaved trails to suit both the strollers and bikes. Two picnic centers feature shelter from the weather and are first-come, first-served. The shelters are available for rent but must be notified ahead of time and one shelter does offer a fireplace. Many suggest the nice running trails and walking paths because of the beauty of the park. The West-Chester Baseball Complex is located near the park and calls all youth baseball fans to its high-quality facility. Beckett Park is overall much larger than its playgrounds and offers many other features to check out. Once you're done for the day at Beckett Park, there are a variety of fun restaurants, shops and other parks to enjoy in the area.
