Berkeley Way Mini-Park is a great little spot that offers fun for all ages.

This park is completely gated and has a mix of sand and soft rubber surface. There are two structures and a four-person teeter-totter plus swing set (standard and bucket swings).
The bigger structure has one spiral slide, steps, a zip line, climbing net, monkey bars (but they’re not the typical monkey bars. similar to the climbing net), and ladders (more with that climbing net style). I've never seen monkey bars or ladders made of this style so it made this spot feel really unique.
The smaller structure has a sidewinder slide, steps, and a steering wheel for pretend play.
Outside of the gated playground is a gated grassy area perfect for a little kickball, picnic or letting your doggies run free. There were two off-leash dogs when we were here but because the two areas are separated by a gate there wasn't an issue.
This park was very shaded near the big structure but a bit of sun on the toddler side. There are benches for taking a break plus a decent-sized sidewalk is perfect for chalking. The blackberry bush along the back fence is a bit overgrown and making its way into the sand (watch out for thorns!!)
There is no bathroom and only street parking is available.
This little park is right down the West Street pedestrian/bike path from Strawberry Creek Park and a short bike ride to Cedar Rose Park. Grab your bike and do a park tour!

Jessie relocated to the Bay Area in 2013 to be a high school math teacher and since has gotten married, has two kids, and is now a SAHM, stay/slay at home mom. She enjoys working on her embroidery crafts and taking her kids to local playgrounds and regional nature parks, both of which were activities she became passionate about during the pandemic when she needed an outlet and a way to maintain her mental health. She loves encouraging local families and visitors alike to laugh, play, and explore. There’s so much to see and do so get outside and do it! #amom2kidsandapark
