Enjoy some of the freshest seafood in Colorado at Big Mac and Little Lu's Seafood!

Here in Colorado, fresh seafood isn't what we're known for due to our inland location. So when you find remarkable, fresh fish, that's a big deal! We were pleasantly surprised to discover a hidden restaurant in Westminster that had wonderful food for the whole family, called Big Mac and Little Lu's Seafood.

One of the first things I noticed about the restaurant is how it transports you to the coast with the interior design. It's decorated with ropes to make you feel like you're near the dock and many fishing pictures. The atmosphere is light and fun and we always have nice, attentive service. 

According to the website (and you'll see evidence of this all over the restaurant), Big Mac & Little Lu's is a "Family-owned restaurant by Paul and his two girls originally from Florida. Bringing in fresh fish daily. Always wild caught never farm-raised. Never frozen." 

I love that this restaurant has quality seafood for the adults, but it also a very comfortable family atmosphere. The children's menu has options like Kid Fishy Fingers, Kid Fried Shrimp, Big Mac and Cheese or Spaghetti so they can also enjoy the seafood route or have a classic favorite while you do.

At the times we've dined at this restaurant, our favorite menu items have been the oysters, lobster bisque, Lu Lu's Sweet & Spicy Shrimp, and their well-known Almond Crusted Hogwish.  The Ahi Poke Nachos are now on my list of top favorite appetizers, anywhere!
