Bond Park Is a Fun, Open Park in the Middle of Estes Park!

If you're looking for a big, wide-open space for your kids to run, jump, and play to their hearts' content, Bond Park is a great choice.

It's located on the main road in Estes Park, so it's nearly impossible to miss. I do like parks that are super easy to find, especially when we've been on the road for hours or are just visiting an unfamiliar town. So, for me, this is a huge plus. It's also right in the middle of a popular street of shops, restaurants, and more. So, when the kiddos suddenly say they're starving, you're never far from fresh eats.

As for a playground, if that's what you're looking for, Bond Park is not the place for you. If you're in search of a playground, head just up the road to Estes Park Playground. To give you an idea of how flat this spot is, it's the spot they use for all the festivals and live music in town. This means it's an excellent park for flying a kite! Our family loves flying kites, so this is a definite draw for us.

There are plenty of picnic tables here, so go ahead and pack a fun picnic lunch. This is also a great spot to bring a glove and ball, a soccer ball, or a sticky mitt game. We also often carry a little t-ball set in our trunk, so that's another great option at this park.

This park has great views of the Rockies in the distance, so the mountains will likely be calling you. They also have some cool bronze sculptures in this park that my kiddos found fascinating.

After running around here, head over to You Need Pie! for some of the yummiest food in town! You Need Pie! has, yep, you guessed it, some of the very best pie in town. Or, if you're looking to treat your family to a fresh muffin or roll, another great option is to head to the nearby Notchtop Bakery.
