If “family fun” and “safety” are equal on your priority list plan your trip to Clark’s Elioak Farm in Ellicott City, Maryland. 

Let’s talk safety first: Clark’s uses a timed ticket system via their website to keep capacity in check as well as allow for contactless entry. (We purchased our tickets the day before.) Guests over the age of 5 are required to wear masks throughout the entire experience, and handwashing stations are available. 

Now, onto the fun

The activity options are endless! Petting farm, hay wagon rides, an adorable “cow train” ride, the enchanted express train, and the most adorable slide & displays with fairytale themes! Animals include pigs, sheep, donkeys, chickens, goats, horses, ducks, cows, rabbits, turkeys, and more. Entry is only $8 per person (12 months and older), and the rides are only $2.50-5 per attraction.

Pack a lunch to enjoy in the covered outdoor pavilion, or take a post-farm four-mile drive to Clarksville Commons which houses You-Pizza and The Common Kitchen. Parking is plentiful with a large lot immediately in front of the entrance, and the farm is stroller friendly. There is a Mother’s Room with a changing table; bathrooms are portable.
