Cobb's Popcorn is a cute popcorn shop and an excellent stop for a gourmet snack!
This handmade popcorn window is quite literally a hole-in-the-wall place. This handmade popcorn window is a fun spot to grab something to eat. We love it because you can see all the equipment and watch the process from the window. They feature four signature flavors: brown butter and sea salt, cheddar, salt mix, and caramel. The staff is very kind and enthusiastic about their work. They let us sample each kind before they hand-packed us our bag of choice. The caramel flavor is addictive. The packaging is cute, and the shop overall has a likable character. They have a small staff of three people that bring this yummy popcorn to downtown Seattle!
The location next to Pike’s Place means many activities to pair with a visit to Cobb's Popcorn. The Seattle Monorail, about a ten-minute walk away, will bring you to the Space Needle and the playground next to it. Tickets are $3/ person each way and can be purchased at the self-serve kiosk at the entrance. Pike’s Place is a fun market with plenty of local vendors to walk through. Check out the picnic table area to see some breathtaking views of the water with the mountains in the background- it is so beautiful that it almost looks unreal! Other fun favorites are the Seattle Aquarium and the Great Wheel. And of course, there are plenty of places to shop and dine. This is an excellent area for spending a day outside because there is so much to see and do. Stop by Cobb’s Popcorn for a snack to refuel during a fun day in downtown Seattle!
