Confluence is a lovely place to cool off in the warmer months.

Confluence Park is the perfect oasis to sit and enjoy the river flowing over the rocks and watch the kayakers. Located right outside of REI and Starbucks, there is terrace concrete seating leading down to the river so there are tons of places to sit, run around, take a break, or even dip your toes into the water. The park features walkways, bridges, trails, and rapids. The graffiti is also a very cool aspect of the walkways and paved paths. If it is warm, kids will love floating in an inner tube in the shallow area. The sunset is beautiful here behind the bridge and with the waterfalls. This is a hub of activity with people hanging out, walking, or exercising. There is also a public art tour that goes on Sundays for part of the year, so check the calendar to see if it is happening that day!
