The award-winning Cosetta Italian resturant has been around since 1911!

Cossetta is one of the most well-regarded, mainstay restaurants in Minnesota's capital city, and with good reason. The food here is amazing, the staff friendly and welcoming, the location is excellent, and the prices are very low. This has been one of my very favorite Twin Cities restaurants for many, many years.

Cossetta is located in the heart of St. Paul, just down the road from the Xcel Energy Center. Because the huge crowds from the Xcel typically enjoy the bars and restaurants along this block before hockey games and other events there, Cossetta gets very, very busy on game nights, and when there's a big even at the Xcel.

The food here is amazing, and there's a huge selection. You don't stay in business for over 100 years without offering the tastiest food around. Being an Italian eatery, they're famous for their hot pasta, but they also offer delicious cold pastas, pizza, treats, and more. My favorite dish at Cossetta is their signature pasta, which is a rosa sauce. The pizza is also wonderful, and it's a great place to feed your family delicious food for a very, very reasonable price. This eatery also has a huge amount of indoor seating, as the entire upstairs is dedicated to seating. I think their famous tiramisu is a must-try, but if tiramisu isn't your thing, they have a wonderful chocolate shop connected to the restaurant, offering delicious traditional Italian treats.

Parking is typically not a problem here, except, again, on game nights. If you do park in the designated parking lot, they will validate your parking if you eat at Cossetta, which is a nice bonus.

After enjoying a wonderful meal here at Cossetta, head down to the St. Paul Cathedral to view the gorgeous architecture of this famed building.
