30-Acres of beautiful Sculptures and nature to enjoy at De Cordova, part of the Trustee network.

Located in Lincoln about a 30 minute drive from Boston is De Cordova. Walk the beautiful lands and discover amazing sculpture pieces as well as some gorgeous scenery. The Park has over 60 different sculpture pieces to enjoy. Most are on loan, so there is a constant turnover of art to enjoy.

My kids and I enjoyed the DeWitt Godfrey exhibit, which is a bunch of giant circle barrels. The other exhibit we loved was the glass door exhibit! There is also a large boulder that my kids loved to climb up and slide down!

We enjoyed walking the grounds just as much as viewing the different sculptures. Plenty of different paths to take and we even stopped and caught a baby frog! We loved hopping from stone to stone along the path into the wooded area and looking out onto Flints Pond. They even have a scavenger hunt printout for your little one to use and enjoy! This is the perfect place to come and enjoy a day with a blanket and picnic.

The property also hosts a preschool, Lincoln Nursery School.  You can enjoy yoga in the park, nature tours and snowshoe tours! There are so many events to check out. The park is also a dog-friendly place but they must be leashed and of course, you must pick up after them.

You will need to purchase advance passes. You can purchase them here. Tickets for adults are $18 and kids are free. If you are a Trustees member then the park is included with your membership.

The Head of Accounting and Boston Ambassador, Jenny has been living in Boston for almost 10 years. Before Boston, she lived in Washington, DC for 8 years, and previous to that grew up on Long Island, NY. Along the way, she spent a few months in Amsterdam with her family biking all around and exploring that beautiful city! Jenny has always enjoyed being active - from organized sports to jogging, and of course, being in the garden as much as possible when the weather is cooperative. She tries to include her children in all of her active hobbies. With two toddler boys, ages 3 and 5, she and her husband spend their time discovering new places and things to do in the New England area. Spending time outdoors in all types of weather and encouraging her children to love all seasons is very important to her - and so is helping and encouraging others to do the same. Jenny and her family love spending time at the beach, traveling, taking walks and hikes, and of course, finding new playgrounds!
