Enjoy this Kid-friendly BBQ Restaurant in the Heart of Sylvan Park with Outdoor Seating!

Edley’s vies for the best barbecue spot in Nashville, and, as there’s a lot of competition, that’s saying something. I love their pulled pork and homemade macaroni and cheese. It's great for all ages and kid-friendly!  For the little ones, their kids' plates are great – typically, my two split one as the portions are so large.

While there are a couple of Edley’s across Nashville, the Sylvan Park location is my favorite for its popular garage door feature, which opens when the weather is nice. The space also offers a lovely patio deck with outdoor seating – with fans and heaters set up to help out Mother Nature – overlooking the roundabout that marks the middle of the neighborhood action. There’s even some green grass for kids to run around on, while adults can sit and finish up eating while watching them.

However, if you don’t like restaurants with televisions, be forewarned there several throughout the restaurant. After eating (or before), we also recommend the McCabe playground across the street at the Community Center.

The Richland Creek and Greenway is also very fun to stop by if you are in the neighborhood, especially in the warmer months.
