Come and visit Escaya, the newest park in Chula Vista!

Escaya Park opened in August 2021 and it is a 7.5-acre park in the Otay Ranch neighborhood. As you visit this split-level park make sure you take a breath of fresh air and enjoy the beautiful views of east Chula Vista. Escaya is a new neighborhood located in a quiet and developing community. The park was built around houses and families love to go out on walks and visit the playgrounds in the early mornings or evenings.

Escaya Park has two children's areas, one for ages 2-5 and another one for ages 5-12. Both playgrounds are modern with lots of climbing structures, slides, swings, ropes, musical instruments and other interactive areas for kids. There is a large variety of play structures so kids jump from one play structure to the next one. A plus is that clean restrooms are located next to the playground.

In addition, if you are trying to get your steps for the day, you can take a walk or jog on the trail. There are lots of open grassy areas, make sure you bring balls. You’ll be able to play soccer in these areas. Also, bring a basketball to play on the basketball court.

There are a few parking spaces available inside the park and plenty of street parking.

Lastly, there are various picnic tables with built-in barbecue grills. This park would be great for a picnic. Keep in mind that there is plenty of shade.

This park offers something fun for every member of the family!
