Fantasy is a wooden castle playground that is sure to keep kids busy for hours!

Fantasy Playground is a giant castle-themed playground that is sure to keep kids entertained for hours. There is a large variety of play equipment scattered around a wooden castle, creating a unique play experience for kids of all ages. This includes a rock wall, slides, monkey bars, climbing nets, swings, and balance beams. There is a sandpit tucked into a central play area with a small slide perfect for toddlers, and you can bring sand toys or other cheap trinkets to enhance their sand play. Kids are sure to expend all of their energy trying out everything this park has to offer. 

Definitely opt for closed-toed sneakers instead of sandals or flip-flops because the ground here is made up of tiny pebbles and sand. By the time they are ready to leave, your kids will be covered in these pebbles and sand, so be prepared for clean-up afterward. The equipment does not get much shade, so bring sunscreen and consider longer pants for kids to protect them from hot equipment. There are benches around the playground for parents to rest and watch children. It can be easy to lose sight of your kids in the large play structures, but there is a fence around the whole playground to ensure safety. Covered picnic tables are right outside the playground, perfect for lunch and snack time. There is no bathroom, so make sure to go before you leave the house! There is a free parking lot connected to the playground as well as street parking if that lot fills. This park is located in Woodbridge, right outside of Dale City. It is a private community playground built for its neighborhood, but kids from all over are welcome to play.

There is a Little Free Library out front, and a covered pavilion with round wooden tables that match the motif of the playground. There are also other benches around, and plenty of garbage cans. The community closes the park once a year for maintanance, and while it's been around for something like 20 years, it shows! They refill the sandbox and keep the playground clear and in very good shape depite it's age!
