A Large and Beautiful Community Park with a Playground, Ramadas, Soccer Fields, a Skate Park, and the Beautiful Children's Garden Honoring Child and Infancy Loss.

Foxglenn Park is popular for picnics, playing, and taking laps on the walking path around the beautiful green grass. During the warmer months, you will find this park packed with kids (and big kids too) playing sports such as soccer and baseball. There is a small playground for younger kids as well as a skate park for the older ones (or anyone who is adventurous enough to try it!). 

There are also some great walking trails that lead out to the Children's Garden. This park was designed with all children in mind - those still with us and those who have gone before us. If you are a parent who has lost a child or infant, our thoughts and prayers are with you. The Children's Garden was designed with you in mind for contemplation, reflection, and play. A local Flagstaff company, Artisan Metal Works, designed a beautiful sculpture titled "The Journey."

If you continue on the walking path, this will link you up with a Flagstaff Urban Trail that you can take around the back area of the park and through some wooded areas. The trail leads you out approximately 1.9 miles and does have a few steep grades along the way, so just be aware if you have kids with you! It's a great hike though to feel like you are getting out of the city without really leaving it!
