Freeman Park Is a Wonderful Spot Tucked Away in a Great Neighborhood!

This park is most popular as a ballpark, but it has so much more to offer. It features a Babe Ruth field, two little league fields, three softball fields, and six full soccer fields. Because it offers so many wonderful fields for team sports, you’ll find it fairly busy in the summertime during prime time.

But, there are many upsides to being a popular park, too. This includes great amenities. You won’t find Porto-potties here…you’ll find real, indoor, flushing toilets and hand sinks for washing up. This is a really nice feature for a neighborhood park. You’ll also find tons of parking in multiple lots, making parking a breeze. This park is also easy to find. Often Google Maps doesn’t quite take you to the entrance to such parks, but this park is just as marked online.

In addition to all the fields, Freeman Park also has a concession stand in the summer, barbecue grills, two picnic shelters, and a sand volleyball court. It also has a little free library with a beautiful quote written on the side. Our family adores these book boxes, so the girls always squeal with happiness when we find one.

The playground is nice. There are tons of picnic tables, and the equipment itself is very good. With a tunnel slide, a twisty slide, and a double slide, your kids are sure to have a ball! It also has a wobbly bridge, stairs, ladders, and more!

After playing around at this awesome park, head east to Munkabeans Coffeehouse for a bite and a cocoa!
