The Frontier Culture Museum is dedicated to telling the story and origins of early immigrants and their descendants.

There are many permanent exhibits that you can go to and from to learn all about rural life and culture in "four homelands of early migrants to the American colonies." The outdoor exhibits are separated by the Old World and America and show what life was life for colonists and their descendants and how life has changed since then as well as how America has been shaped by its past. The exhibits teach visitors through living demonstrations and signage. 

Food trucks are usually at the museum during special events but check the event website page or Facebook to find out if they will be there during your visit. There are snacks and bottled water available at the Museum Welcome Center, but visitors are allowed to bring in outside food to eat at cafe tables or picnic benches. Make a day of it and bring homemade sandwiches or pick up takeout from a local spot. 

Tickets are valid for an entire year after purchasing online, and admission prices vary. Adult prices are $12.00, Senior (60+) are $11.50, Students (13-18) are $11.00, Children (6-12) are $7.00, and kids under 6 are free.
