Glow Paddle is a lit experience for everyone in Pensacola.

Glow paddle rentals are so much fun! We loved the opportunity to explore in a clear kayak or paddle board with the fun glow lights and optional glow-in-the-dark body paint for added fun. It was neat to experience the quiet of night on the water and we enjoyed seeing the fish through the vessels. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic to help you with all of your paddling needs. Life jackets are required for kids under 13 and are optional and provided for everyone else. You don’t need to have much or really any experience with kayaking or paddle boarding as it is a relaxed experience on calm waters which is great because the whole family can go. Reservations are easy online. We recommend wearing a swimsuit and t-shirt or clothes you don’t mind getting wet as the kayaks had a little bit of water from previous rides when we got in. You leave your shoes and other belongings on the deck to keep them away from any splashes so leave anything super valuable in the car. They give you a cute glow-in-the-dark bracelet as well and staff watch over the lake while you enjoy. This is also a daytime activity if you want to try it out during the day before a night trip but we really enjoyed the environment of the lights on the water!

There are plenty of food options and retail stores nearby if you need to grab something and there is a porta potty on site but no building bathrooms so be sure to plan for that. This was one of our favorite experiences on our trip to Pensacola and is well worth it!
