Hilltop Park is a sweet little park for enjoying together as a family.

This park, while only clocking in at 3.5 acres, packs plenty of fun into a small space.

Hilltop is located just off a major freeway, so it's a convenient stop for sure. It's close to restaurants, gas stations, grocery shops, and coffee shops. This park has a modest but just big enough parking lot. The playground was pretty busy the day we visited, but the parking was still ample. This park also features a bit of shady area, which is something not found at all parks, so I appreciated that.

I did notice that this park has an awesome sledding hill, so we'll definitely return next winter! I haven't seen such a great hill for sledding at other public parks in this area, actually. Hilltop also offers a drinking fountain, which many comparable small parks don't, so that's a bonus in my book. There's also a softball field if taking a turn at bat is something for your family. I was surprised to find grills for BBQing at this park, but I'll admit, it's a super nice feature, especially for such a modest park. There were also plenty of picnic tables, which I always love.

The playground area is great, with new equipment, which is a bonus. The girls were elated to check out this park, and they were pretty much a whirlwind of play! This playground had pretty tall equipment, but it seemed safe for many ages. It features slides, stairs, steps, monkey bars, and a very interesting honeycomb structure. The honeycomb was quite unique, and was really fun for playing hide and seek! And, the honeycombs were fun for our usual games of "robot" when mommy is the robot and tries to find and chase the girls. Yes, as you can tell, I found the honeycombs to "bee" pretty cool!

The kids also loved the big kid swings, of course. They always love to swing. And, what good is a sledding hill when there's no snow?.... Well, it's good for running or log-rolling down, of course! So, just because it's spring, doesn't mean a sledding hill isn't useful...you just have to get creative!

After playing your socks off here at Hilltop Park, head down to Yo-Yo Donuts for a sweet treat! Yes, you've definitely earned it!
