Get some fresh air and enjoy playing outside at Homestead Playground and Field! 

Visit Homestead field for a fun day of activities! This space features a large green area perfect for families or groups of friends. You'll stay busy for hours by simply bringing along a soccer ball, football, a whiffle ball set, or a yoga mat. It will feel great to enjoy time spent outside surrounded by beautiful Pacific Northwest scenery.

The field features a tennis court and a basketball court. A path near the courts makes a nice place for kids to practice riding their scooters or bikes. The hill leading down from the parking lot to the green space is fun for the kids to roll down or can be used for sprints in a fitness session.

The playground has a lively and modern nature theme and includes slides, swirly chairs, rock ladders, and other unique features. There is also a smaller, simpler structure of mini houses for younger kids that is more game-centered. The wood chip bottom is excellent for keeping mud off the kid’s shoes and preventing major ouchies in case of a fall. There are limited grab-and-go food options nearby, so be sure to pack a lunch or some snacks with a blanket for a fun picnic lunch outside.

Restrooms are located on-site, as well as a large parking lot. We love this space because there is so much potential to entertain a group of many ages! Be sure to stop by Homestead Field to get some active time outdoors in Seattle.
