Beautiful Orchard with Fun Farm Activities, Hayrides, Pick Your Own Fruit, Mazes, and Much More!

Honey Pot Hill Orchard is located less than an hour outside of Boston in Stow, Massachusetts. The orchard has many fun activities to choose from, but I think the most unique is the ladder to climb up for apple picking. It's a must for my kids now! There are so many varieties of apples to choose from, and it is such a gorgeous walk up to the different orchards with beautiful rolling hills of apple trees. The smell is wonderful! Don't forget to check out the farm and orchard at different times of the year to pick your own peaches, pears, blueberries and more!

Tractor rides are a cute way to see the whole property as well. The tractor stops include the parking area, orchard, and the farm stand as well as the wooded area to check out some beautiful parts of the farm that you might not otherwise see.

Once you are done picking your fruit head on over to the farm stand area. There is a cool hedge maze that you can do with your kids. The cost is $2 per person, and it's half-off during the week. For kids ages 4 to 9 there is also a tunnel maze. My children love this because they can go themselves (no caregivers allowed!).

Be sure to check out the farm animals as well. They have pigs, llamas, bunnies, mini horses and chickens. If you bring quarters you can buy some animal feed to give to the pigs and mini horses. You can use a pulley system to feed the mini horse at the top of their structures which is a big hit!

The farmstand features homegrown fruits and vegetables, honey, and most importantly apple cider, apple cider donuts and caramel apples! There are also plenty of picnic benches and umbrellas to sit and enjoy your treats!

The Head of Accounting and Boston Ambassador, Jenny has been living in Boston for almost 10 years. Before Boston, she lived in Washington, DC for 8 years, and previous to that grew up on Long Island, NY. Along the way, she spent a few months in Amsterdam with her family biking all around and exploring that beautiful city! Jenny has always enjoyed being active - from organized sports to jogging, and of course, being in the garden as much as possible when the weather is cooperative. She tries to include her children in all of her active hobbies. With two toddler boys, ages 3 and 5, she and her husband spend their time discovering new places and things to do in the New England area. Spending time outdoors in all types of weather and encouraging her children to love all seasons is very important to her - and so is helping and encouraging others to do the same. Jenny and her family love spending time at the beach, traveling, taking walks and hikes, and of course, finding new playgrounds!
