Imagine Playground in Dublin is a popular stop for families with kids of all ages.

This is an incredible all abilities playground that opened in early 2021.

There are three different play structures plus a giant dome with rope ladders of all sorts, a rope arch with monkey rings and more ladders, a four person teeter totter, two different styles of merry go rounds, swings (bucket swings on one side of the park, standard and all abilities swings on another side, and a tire swing style on another), a sandbox with an excavator and play table, plenty of mallet musical instruments, and an exercise equipment area outside the gate. It’s mostly gated with benches and planters serving as some of the barriers (kids can still get over and out because of this) and be aware that the entrance gates don’t click into the post so they’re easily pushed open by kiddos.

The structures have everything you might need, slides (three straight and one roller), rope tunnels, money bars, suspended Lilly pads both on a post and on a rope, ramps everywhere as well as steps, a giant car that rocks similar to a teeter-totter that is accessible via ramp, a smaller play area made of wood with different hangout spots, so many activities including how to learn sign language, read Braille, and speak in other languages. There is really just so much! A lot of the climbing elements in the larger structure are geared a bit more towards older kids but the smaller play areas have enough to keep smaller kids busy at their level.

This is NOT a "hidden" gem. It gets very busy weekend and week days alike. Go early (before 930 am) to avoid crowds for a little while.

Jessie relocated to the Bay Area in 2013 to be a high school math teacher and since has gotten married, has two kids, and is now a SAHM, stay/slay at home mom. She enjoys working on her embroidery crafts and taking her kids to local playgrounds and regional nature parks, both of which were activities she became passionate about during the pandemic when she needed an outlet and a way to maintain her mental health. She loves encouraging local families and visitors alike to laugh, play, and explore. There’s so much to see and do so get outside and do it! #amom2kidsandapark
