A sandwich and salad spot all will love in Foxhall, near the Palisades and Georgetown!

Jetties is a casual and inexpensive restaurant right near Georgetown with a fun, relaxed vibe and incredibly well-rounded menu. It's the perfect launch or endpoint for a trek around DC's historic Georgetown.

It has delicious grown-up sandwiches ranging from a memorable lobster roll to a Thanksgiving-inspired sandwich which you will come back for time and again. There are a variety of veggie options too, not to mention creative salads with tasty and fresh ingredients. We have grown quite enamored by the Chicken Cheese Steak that is new to the menu. You can follow the menu, or create your own meal with a straightforward, user-friendly ordering format.

For kids, the Jetties menu has everything from a turkey sandwich to mac and cheese with fruit sides (and amazing cookies or ice cream if you feel like winning Parent of the Year after lunch). We also appreciate that the kids' menu is fairly priced and maintains a balance between what kids really want to eat and putting goodness into their bodies all while being presented in a really fun way! All of their menu options are less than $15, making Jetties a relatively inexpensive option! 

Jetties now has several locations around the city that include Downtown, Penn Quarter, Macomb, Bethesda, and Chevy Chase. This is the original and will always remain one of our favorites.

They are a prime option for catering or feeding large groups and have the easiest catering delivery system. Their food also travels well, making it ideal picnic food, to take with you on an adventure or to show appreciation to a nursing or teaching staff, or to refuel your kids' team before or after a competition. For the little ones, the popular Palisades Playground or the small, quiet playground tucked away at 35th and T Street in Burleith are both about five minutes away, so pick up lunch at Jetties on the way to play! Volta Park is another great park, with a lot of amenities and space to picnic, and it is also five minutes away.
