Kidcreate is a wonderful place to make art on a rainy day, or if you're just feeling creative!

Kidcreate is such a wonderful art studio for families! We have been creating here since my big girl was a little toddler. Not only do they offer wonderful art classes for kids, but also parent-child classes, as well as open art studio time. They offer "date nights" on certain weekends, where you can drop your kiddos off for some artsy fun while you catch dinner or a movie. They also offer weekly classes throughout the year, before and during school hours. They have special art programs for the growing number of homeschool families, so that you can get your kiddos out of the house and making art. Kidcreate also offers many special holiday classes, so your kiddos can feel a sense of pride in creating their very own gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, and more!

The girls and I have spent countless magical hours here together, brainstorming, creating, and enjoying the time together. This truly is a wonderful place to connect together as a family. I love how the stafff here are always kind and welcoming. I also love that they line the walls with samples of their upcoming art projects, so the kids can see which projects they might like to create next. During Covid, they started a program offering pick-up art projects, so virtually any upcoming project they offer can be purchased and picked up in a bag (even outside the front door, so contactless) if you're having symptoms, or just don't feel like doing the project at the studio. I love this option, and we have enjoyed many contactless pick-up projects over the past year.

The girls also love that they always get to wear their very own art smock, in cute little kids sizes. At the beginning of each class, the tables are covered in white paper, so kids can color however they like on the papered tables. After each day's art project, they usually get "messy" time and get to play with shaving cream, paint, and glitter.
