Little Sugar Creek Greenway on Westfield is the way to get fresh air and exercise.

Parking can be confusing, so we recommend either parking behind Park Road shopping center or street parking on Westfield Road. This paved pathway includes benches, trashcans, and beautiful scenery along the Little Sugar Creek. This path is paved and includes bridges and signs to direct you. This paved path is great for family walks or bike rides.

Right in the middle of this busy city is a little slice of nature. Birds singing and fish swimming is a refreshing break from the business of Charlotte.Grab a coffe and take a stroll. There were several spotsthat would make for a great picnic location, so pack a lunch adn have a picnic.

Little Sugar Creek Greenwayis an awsome place to walk your four legged friends. There are several recepticals with bags for your convience.

Additionally, I saw a pavillion just off the walking path that appeared to be a place that you could possibly go to listen to music or perhaps see a show. I would check with the local stores near by.

Good for all ages, Little Sugar Creek Greenway is a nice way to get outside and burn some energy. Follow the pathway to Freedom Park where you can stop at the playground or nature center. This path includes using “shared streets” a Charlotte initiative to give residents other pathway options. These shared streets include Irby Drive and Jameston Drive which are blocked off from passing through traffic to allow safer streets for pedestrians.

This family-friendly activity is a great way to explore Charlotte and to get some fun outdoor exercise!
