Manchester Park and Playground Is So Much Fun for Families!

We really enjoyed this little park. Take note - even though it's right off the main road, it is a bit tricky to get to. I would advise you to approach the park via Manchester Drive rather than via  Lake Harrison Road. You'll park right at the end of the road, which is a cul-de-sac immediately in front of the park.

This park sits atop a hill, so I also advise that you bring along layers and hats if you have them. You won't find many trees for cover here, but you will find a really nice little playground.

The playground equipment here is pretty new and is in great condition.

There is a nice covered pavilion with picnic tables underneath it, which I happen to love for poor weather days or super hot days. It seems like a small perk until you need it!

This playground offers two separate play structures, which are basically one for big kids and one for little kids. I do enjoy this, especially having two kiddos. It allows them to have more of their own space to explore. The playset for littles has slides, stairs, and a play steering wheel, and more. The big kids' playset has a great twisty slide, steps, monkey bars, ladders, and more. This playground isn't huge, but it's just right for a fun time outdoors. It's also not a super crowded playground, which can be a nice change of pace.

I also like that this park is located close to so many conveniences, including shops, restaurants, groceries, and more. This is always a great bonus for moms and caregivers on the go.

After enjoying a great time here, head over to Nothing Bundt Cakes for a very special treat!
