Mayflower Park Is a Great Little Park and Playground Nestled in a Major Suburb.

This park is a really great choice for a family outing in the great outdoors. It’s a fairly modest park, but it sure packs lots of fun for families. And this park is found in a great, central location, as well. It’s just off the main road, but it’s a quieter park, which is nice. It also offers paved trail connections to other area parks, including the huge Big Willow Park. I love when small neighborhood parks offer great area trail connections.

This park has a nice playground area with a paved path that circles around the play area. There are benches around the playground as well. You won’t find big ball fields or a huge green space here, but there’s still plenty of space to play around. The playground has plenty of swings, including a baby swing. The main play area has monkey bars, steps, slides, and more. And I love that they have little bouncy animals for little ones. I like that this park has twisty slides and different obstacles to climb up. This park has so many great features.

After playing here for the afternoon, you’ll find you’re close to many great restaurants and stores. I recommend heading to Scoreboard if you’re looking for a great burger or to Yo Yo Donuts if you feel like a sweet treat. This park is also close to the historic Burwell House if you’re into historical architecture.
