Monkey's Treehouse

When it’s raining and the outdoors is too mucky or cold, the kids and I head over to Monkey Treehouse – a reliable place to expel energy, especially for younger kids. Plenty of toys and costumes can be found within as well as a huge treehouse to climb up and over, complete with slides. My girls especially love the village area, which has a garage workshop area alongside a bakery, grocery store, firehouse, post office, and home living area! 

In our experience, two hours (give or take) is the perfect amount of time to spend here, though the admission fee lasts all day. Plus, the owner is super helpful and friendly if you need anything. Outside food is allowed, so you can pack a (peanut-free) lunch for the fun. There is a section for kids under 2 that is separate from where the older kids play – a nice feature because that keeps the little ones safe from the more fast action. Free wifi is available, however, keep an eye on your kids as there are no site supervisors on hand.
