Nesbitt Preserve Park is a great addition to a day of family fun, with options for activities in all seasons!

Ok, so this playground started out super fun right out of the gate...we actually sledded into the park! Yep, as soon as I noticed the perfect sledding hill led directly down to the park below, I busted out the sleds immediately. The girls thought this was the most awesome way to get to the park and I have to agree! Overall, this park and playground proved to be a great stop, and we'll definitely be back.

The playground had just enough equipment to keep our kiddos happy, which was great. In addition to the playground area, there's a large grassy area surrounding it, so it's ideal for any ball games or park toys you may bring with you. There are also basketball courts, a baseball field, and a picnic area for the warmer months. This park is located in a premier area of the Twin Cities, so the suburban backdrop is also quite beautiful.

The playground equipment was ample for our two kids and was definitely of a newer design, which is always an added bonus. There was a pretend house structure which our little one loved, and a plastic merry-go-round for four that the girls really loved. There were bouncy animals for littles to ride on, and swings for several kiddos. There was (bonus!) a set of racing slides....two slides set right next to each other. My girls always LOVE these! For the outdoor sports lovers, there was also an outdoor hockey/skating rink, which is just so classically Minnesotan. There's also a bike trail for the warmer months. This park really has plenty of options for family fun in any season.

After running around here, head over to Yo Yo Donuts for a special treat.
