Patterson Park is a big, busy park full of fun amenities!

Located just outside the Mueller neighborhood, this park provides a lot of open space to kick around a soccer ball or throw a frisbee, a well-equipped pool (it's free!) during summer months, a recently updated playground, tree-covered picnic areas complete with grills, volleyball, basketball, and courts, plus a community garden.

The playground is large and has swings, slides, climbing features, and other cool structures. There is much room to run and play, and the ground is covered in wood chips as a surfacing. For skating fans, make sure to grab your board, because there’s also a small skateboarding ramp.

This park is really popular for all kinds of activities including hiking and running. You can usually find a game of pick-up to join in on too.  For great eats nearby we recommend Kerby Lane, the beloved Alamo Drafthouse for dinner and a movie, or the Thinkery.
