This park is so much fun, the kids asked to come back the next day!

We had a blast together at this park. The kids tried to make me promise I'd bring them back again the next day, and I'm not even joking! This park is fun. There's a playground in the middle of the park, with all sorts of fun in store.

In addition to the playground, there's also a basketball court, pickleball, a picnic area, and a bike trail.

The playground has all sorts of fun equipment for kiddos, including slides, tunnels, and monkey bars, steps, stairs, and bouncers. Interestingly, this park has exercise bikes for the grown-ups, facing the playground equipment. This is literally the very first time I've ever seen exercise bikes at a playground. I was fascinated by this. This park also had a large fake rock wall, which is always great fun for the kids. It certainly takes more concentration and thoughtful play for them, and it's fun to see them slow down a bit to focus on climbing the wall. I also liked that there were benches lining the outside of the play area. The kids had fun playing make-believe on the benches, pretending that there were sharks in the "water" below the benches. It was fun to see them creating all sorts of stories with their friends.

This park is easy to find, though not visible from the main road. There was plenty of parking on-site, so I was happy with that. And, I of course liked that there was plenty of wide-open green space at this park. I always appreciate that, as I'm less a fan of cramped, urban parks, and more a fan of some breathing room.

After enjoying an afternoon at Pioneer Park, head over to Smith Coffee for a delicious treat!
