The Quietwater bayside is aptly named, and a great spot to kick back and enjoy a relaxing day.

The Quietwater Beach area is popular for families and all ages.  You'll see boats tied up, kayakers, SUP and sandcastle building in this popular spot.  People love the bayside for calm waters.  Parents will love the proximity of the playground which is a great option for beach and playground in one day without having to leave and find a new destination.  This beach access area has restrooms, picnic shelters, access to restaurants (ranging from pizza and ice cream to sit-down options).  It's popular and can get crowded but there's plenty of beach to share and enjoy.  Parking can be busy but just bring your patience and head out early to grab the best parking spots AND the perfect place to unpack for the day.

Stop by the boardwalk to shop or grab a bite to eat. Throughout the year, day or night, you will find live entertainment under iconic, "The Shell", the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk Amphitheatre. It is a remarkable setting for sunset photos and to take in the variety of entertainment to grace its stage. The beautiful beach and sparkling Gulf Coast waters serve as the backdrop for this beautiful venue which is home to a variety of concerts, live entertainment, and special events. But even when there is no scheduled live entertainment, however, Quietwater Beach Boardwalk has so much to offer each and every day of your visit.  The Pensacola Beach Boardwalk includes a selection of dining and quick bite options. Stop into Bamboo Willies Beachside Bar for some great views, a fun atmosphere and famous Fat Tuesday frozen daiquiri’s. The Beachside Cafe’ combines a variety of culinary taste sensations including casual café dining, American, Greek, Mediterranean along as well as an ice cream parlor.

Beyond the Shell and Amphitheater is what is known as “Mom’s Beach”, a quieter, shallower area of water that is kid-friendly. This is a great area for shelling, spotting hermit crabs, sand dollars and snorkeling.
