Seabreeze Park and Playground has a large toddler-friendly structure, plenty of sidewalk space for biking, and a big open grass field!

The park is pretty large with two ball fields and plenty of grass in between (no permanent outfield boards so it’s essentially a huge open field with some dirt and a backstop on either corner). The entire park has paved sidewalks all around, especially near the playground where the sidewalks weave in and out of picnic tables and a man-made grove of small/someday giving shade trees.

The play structure is in a circle format with bridges or a crawl tunnel connecting platform to platform. This format really allows for younger children not yet ready for the suspended lily pads or monkey bars to have fun and enjoy the entire structure. There are three slides (sidewinder, tube, double), steps, various ladders, activities, and the before mentioned crawl tube that can almost act as a fourth slide because of the angle. No swings or playground extras.

While there is a parking lot and bathroom it couldn’t be any farther from the playground. We parked on Point Lobos Court which is much closer to the playground but we still had to walk a few minutes to get to the playground since it’s tucked in the back corner.

This park is great for biking and scootering or even stroller walks since it has a lot of long sidewalks.

Depending on the time of year, this park can either be very hot with no sea breeze or incredibly cold with more sea breeze than you'd like.

Jessie relocated to the Bay Area in 2013 to be a high school math teacher and since has gotten married, has two kids, and is now a SAHM, stay/slay at home mom. She enjoys working on her embroidery crafts and taking her kids to local playgrounds and regional nature parks, both of which were activities she became passionate about during the pandemic when she needed an outlet and a way to maintain her mental health. She loves encouraging local families and visitors alike to laugh, play, and explore. There’s so much to see and do so get outside and do it! #amom2kidsandapark
