This Park Is a Really Beautiful Outdoor Space for Families!

We found this park, just by chance, as we never knew it was here. It’s tucked away, close to plenty of shops, but away from the main road. It sits on a neighborhood road of large, brick homes. I would feel comfortable parking my car here without worrying about anyone stealing anything. It felt like a very safe suburban area.

This park features nine acres of outdoor space, which is definitely big enough for plenty of fun. In addition to the playground, it offers a half-court basketball court, a covered picnic shelter, connections to a greater trail system, and off-street parking. I really love the plus of being connected to the greater trail system. My kids love to bike and hike, so I usually throw the bikes in the back, and off we go adventuring!

I also like parks that feel more out of the way than they really are. I’m a suburbanite, through and through, so I’m spoiled by having lots of beautiful parks and trails at my doorstep. But, we also feel close to movie theaters, shops, and more.

We loved this park overall. I also love covered picnic pavilions, as I’m pretty careful about sun safety for our family. I also think these are a huge bonus for nursing moms, as having a place a bit tucked away for nursing is so nice, especially for babies who tend to fall asleep.

The playground offers a cute bouncy horse for little ones. It also has several bumpy and twisty slides, a giant tic-tac-toe board, steps, ladders, a fake rock wall, bridges, and more.

After enjoying some playtime at this park, head over to Paragon Bakery for a special treat.
