Urban Air in Middle River has everything you need for indoor family fun.  Trampolines as far as the eye can see, obstacle courses for would be ninjas both young and old, foam pits, climbing walls, dodge ball and a huge tubes play area are but a few of the features making Urban Air a great spot for birthday parties or just a spur of the moment trip to help your little ones get their energy out.

Many of the attractions are divided by age so little ones can join in on the fun without fear of being run over by big kids. The massive tubes playground is a huge hit with little ones and isn’t to be missed. Kids younger than 5 also get in at a reduced price.

While I highly recommend joining in for adults who want to burn some calories or get a full night of sleep. You can get a $5 pass that allows you to access all the same attractions as your child. If jumping isn’t your thing, there’s also a relaxation room with massage chairs and TVs.

Urban Air has a café where visitors can get a snack or a more substantial meal such as pizza. You are also welcome to bring your own snack to eat in their cafeteria area. There are lockers available or free cubbies where you can stow your belongings while you jump.

The Middle River Location is easy to find off I 95 and White Marsh Blvd and is close to White Marsh Mall and The Avenue so finding places to eat or shop nearby is a cinch.  On-site parking is free and the facility is entirely wheelchair and stroller accessible.  The bathrooms are clean and well maintained and there’s hand sanitizer stations throughout to help you and your group stay germ-free.

Make sure to check their website for pricing and specials.  Tickets and memberships can be purchased online and you can also fill out the liability waiver there to help speed up your entry and avoid the lines. As a heads up, when you check-in you’ll be asked to purchase a pair of grippy socks for everyone participating (you can keep them for any future visits). If you have a pair of grippy socks from another trampoline park, Urban Air allows you to trade them in for a free pair of their socks, as they are a requirement for jumping.

We’ve been to our fair share of trampoline parks in the area, and I have to say, Urban Air remains one of our favorites!

Our work in Baltimore is truly a family affair. Husband and wife, Matt and Katie, work together to head up our ambassador team in Charm City. Katie is a Maryland native and has lived in the state her whole life. She moved to Baltimore in 2007 after graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been working in the field of early childhood education as a teacher and family coach for the past 12 years. Katie also holds a Masters of Education in Literacy from Loyola University. She is passionate about giving kids and families the knowledge and tools that they need to thrive. Matt grew up in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore. As a city native, Matt is a great resource on all that the city has to offer. After months of helping Katie explore the city for her role at a Happy Active Family, he decided to put his love of writing to use and officially come on board as an ambassador. Matt and Katie have two girls, ages 5 and 7. They spend their weekends camping, hiking, or exploring other hidden gems in their area. Tap into their insider knowledge by downloading the app today!
