When you’re in the hustle and bustle of Charlotte, Waterbean Coffee is the perfect place to take a break for a latte or tea refresh. This super quaint cafe is located in the middle of town and is staffed with incredibly nice and helpful employees. The cafe offers both tea and coffee lattes along with frozen, blended drinks, and snacks. Waterbean also sells coffee and tea you can take and make at home.

Aside from the beverages, the shop also slings delicious blueberry crumble cakes, banana bread, and macaroons, which offer a quick pick me up for you and the little ones. Looking for something a little more filling—perhaps lunch? Waterbean makes delightful lunch fare including croissants topped with bacon and sweet sauce, veggie melts, and—a Waterbean special—Italian bread full of turkey, ham, bacon, salami, and provolone cheese with housemade sauce. If none of those are pleasing to your palate, you can also build your own sandwich. They also have the option of making it a meal by adding your choice of sea salt or mesquite potato chips.

Both indoors and outside seating is available. Across the street you’ll also find plenty of shade and comfortable seating as well, making Waterbean a great spot for work meetings, a mobile office, and a great spot for moms’ meet-ups too! It’s cute enough for a photo op too. But if you and the kids are looking for a bite and a walk there are loads of options nearby, including a lovely walking trail as well as plenty of shopping—including Target, and PetCo.
