Willam R. Davie is a great park that has a nice fenced in playgroud area. The playground area has 3 different play structures for different age groups and 2 sets of swings. This park has one of my favorite swings where the adult can sit on one side and face their child while they swing together! There is also a shelter with picnic tables for lunch and snacks.
"Set on 107 acres, William R. Davie Park is a huge park in South Charlotte with lots to offer. It has big fields, great playgrounds, walking/running trails and the coolest dog park in town (for ages 12 and up due to large and abundant dogs).
The playgrounds are awesome and designed by age. The bathrooms are clean. You can reserve shelters for events. It’s a really cool park and popular for mom meet-ups.
