September Weeknight Meal Ideas

Published on August 30, 2020 - Updated on August 30, 2020

Get inspired in the kitchen this month with great flavors for the whole family!

We are getting ready for back to school in D.C., but it looks a whole lot different this year. Both of our kids are attending school via remote options. I have lots of thoughts and feelings about this, but one that certainly sticks out is that I will be serving three full meals a day for the foreseeable future. Yikes.

No matter what this fall looks like for you, we're guessing some time-saving options would help everyone out. So we've included several recipes that work well for batch cooking and/or freezing, one pot meals, and a few breakfast-for-dinner favorites because brinner is always a winner. Happy Back to School!
