Apex Jaycee is a small neighborhood park that's great for toddlers.

Located in Apex, Jaycee Park is a 23-acre park with a small playground, picnic shelter, soccer field, softball field, batting cage, and access to the greenway. The small playground is geared towards younger children with a small slide, tunnel, steps, climbing, and interactive fun. The playground is surrounded by mature trees and shaded for parts of the day. The playground can get busy on the weekends with games going on. This would be a better playground to visit during the week. The playground is between the softball field and soccer field along with the restrooms. The soccer and softball fields are mostly used for the local leagues for playing but can be used to practice on when they are not in use. There is also a covered picnic shelter with a grill can be rented out.

You can access the Beaver Creek Greenway from here. This two mile paved greenway is perfect for a walk or run with the stroller, bike ride, or scootering. Part of this greenway is in a section of a neighborhood. You will cross the Apex Peakway and walking about eight houses down to see the entrance of the greenway again. This trail is shaded in many parts and leads you to the Kelly Road Park which has a large colorful playground geared for more ages.

This is a great park to stop off at when you are looking for something to do or to hit the greenway.
