The Boise Bike Park provides an opportunity for all riders to test their skills or sit back and enjoy watching others.

Kiddos learn to take turns, gain awareness of surroundings, and test their balance on multiple skill level tracks. The beginner track is accommodating for a strider and it is so fun to watch your little rider find their balance on the track. On the intermediate cement track you will often find riding clubs gathered together, riding quickly and trying tricks. The dirt track has all skill levels. This track has multiple entry points so you can help your little rider feel more comfortable by starting in the middle. I often ran next to my son as he began to navigate the track. The common purpose of the Bike Park is to find fulfillment in testing your bike skills. It is a positive place to bring your family.

When you need a break numerous benches provide an opportunity to take a breather or take a snack break. If you plan to spend time at the bike park over a meal grab some takeout and stay awhile. You can pick up food at one of many chains, such as Whole Foods or Chick-fil-a nearby but if you want a real local treat check out Tin Roof Tacos. Take out is quick, delicious and affordable.

If you feel like making it a day, the Boise Bike Park is part of the Military Reserve. 734 acres of the reserve are filled with hiking, archery and an off leash dog park.
