Charming Minneapolis Pasta Bar Offering Elegant Dining for Families
A neighborhood favorite, Broders' Pasta Bar is an excellent option for families who are looking for an upscale dining experience in Minneapolis with kids. Whether you are looking for a place to celebrate something special or just want a nice dinner out with the whole family, you can't go wrong with Broders' Pasta Bar. The ambiance is refined without being stuffy, and the staff is very friendly. This is, after all, a family-owned and run restaurant!
Kids will adore the many pasta options on Kit's Menu (a dedicated kids' menu named for the first Broder grandchild). In fact, kids can select from three noodle shapes and several sauces to create their perfect meal. Then, parents will certainly appreciate the extensive wine list while also dining on some of the best pasta in the Twin Cities. Select from seasonal menu options or traditional favorites (like cacio e pepe and puttanesca). Be sure to end the meal with a scrumptious dessert and espresso. High-chairs and changing tables are available (restrooms are all-gender).
Seasonally, the outdoor patio is available and is a great option for families. Typically, the patio menu is different than the indoor dining menu (be sure to review before making your selection). Indoor dining includes cozy tables or seating around the wine bar. If you don't have time for a sit-down dinner, head across the street to Broders' Cucina Italiana for a slice of pizza or deli fare.
After dinner, head to Lake Harriet for an evening stroll. The fairy door is on this end of the lake and fairly easy to find near the stairs to the lake (go left to find it) - check the pictures to see what it looks like. Kids will love getting rid of any extra energy they have by looking for ducks and throwing rocks in the lake while parents sit on a nearby bench.
