Arlington's Campo Verde restaurant offers Tex-Mex food in a fun atmosphere, with an astonishing number of Christmas lights and decorations on display in the winter. 
 

Campo Verde is a Tex-Mex and American restaurant with a cozy, casual atmosphere. From October through February, the restaurant decorates every space with Christmas decorations and lights. The family home in the movie "Christmas Vacation" doesn't come close to this restaurant! 120,000 lights along with 3,000 yards of garland, 50 Santa figures, and 30 Christmas trees fill every inch of the space. Around the inside of the restaurant, a model train runs around 635 feet of track. This is a highlight for kids, who will love waiting for the train to come around the track. There is ample seating inside the restaurant, along with a bar area. 

A mix of Tex-Mex, Southwest, and American menu items means there is something for the whole family to enjoy. Chips and medium-heat salsa are the first items that come to the table. The chips do come with seasoning, but you can request chips without seasoning if you prefer. Appetizers include nachos, quesadillas, Mexican pizza, fried jalapeños, queso, chicken wings, popcorn shrimp, fried cheese, chicken fingers, and bacon wrapped shrimp. Classic Tex-Mex menu items include tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, burritos, and more. Standard American fare includes chicken fried steak, ribeye, chicken kabob, chicken finger entree, burger, and chicken filet. They also have a kids' menu with mini tacos, enchiladas, burritos, mini hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, quesadillas, chicken fingers, popcorn shrimp, and macaroni and cheese. Margaritas, wines, beer, and cocktails are on offer for adults.

Campo Verde is a place you will definitely want to check out during the holiday season for the decorations, and it's a great place to eat throughout the year!
