Located in Matthews, just off 74 and 51, Cantina Louie is a chain restaurant that originated in Florida. They serve up a wide selection of food for everyone in the family to enjoy. They use fresh ingredients and make everything to order.

First they give you complimentary chips and salsa. Then for appetizers, they have items like crispy avocado rolls, shrimp ceviche, taquitos, chicken empanadas, queso, and guacamole dip. They have a Mexican street food like la carte tacos, burritos, enchiladas, nachos, fajitas, salads, and quesadillas. Their kids menu features a soft taco, a enchilada, cheese quesadilla, burrito, grilled chicken, chicken fingers, and cheeseburger slider. The kids' meals come with a side of rice and beans or fries, and kids drink. They also have a lunch menu with a pick three combo, and some of the dinner menu items. 

There is a nice selection of drinks and daily drink specials for adults. There is Happy Hour every day from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Monday's special is $6.99 fresh Guavaritas, Tuesdays are All Tacos $2.99 & Special drinks $5.99, Wednesday is $5.99 flavored margaritas, Thursday is All Day $5.99 1862 margaritas, Friday & Saturday is $8.99 Top Shelf cocktails, and Sunday is $5.99 Shaken Pina Colada. Also, on the weekends, they do Mexican street corn for $3.99 and homemade tamales for $2.99 each.
