Carver Park is a small park tucked away in the tiny town of Carver.

Only 12 acres, this park is primarily used as a take-out point for those who are tubing down the Clackamas River in the summer. This park usually has a lot of shade cover in the hot summer months which can be useful if you want to wade around in the river but not be in the hot sun.

There are seasonal flush toilets here along with some picnic tables. There is a tiny beach area along the river but also a creek nearby with shallow water for the kids to throw rocks and wade in.

This small park doesn’t have a whole lot to offer but sometimes just sitting near the river is just what you’re looking for.

There are a few great food options nearby if you want to grab something to eat and take it to the river for a relaxing lunch or early dinner. Food carts are at the corner of 212 and 224. The small town of Carver has a handful of local favorites, all offering to-go foods.

If you’re looking to float the river, you can start at Barton Park and take out here at Carver park. The float would be about 6 miles long and take roughly 3-5 hours. Those who want to go for a longer float time, you can start up at Milo McIver and then end at Carver Park.

Fee to park here is $6 per car or you can use a yearly Clackamas County parking pass.

Since this is a tiny park, just know before you go that it is a good spot to spend a couple of hours picnicking and throwing rocks but if you’re looking for an all-day adventure I’d recommend heading over to Milo McIver which is 10 minutes away.
