Critzer Family Farm has berry picking, homemade ice cream, beautiful flowers, and fresh produce!
A wonderful farm that has delicious two-ingredient ice cream and fruit of all kinds. Fruit such as peaches, apples, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, cherries, peaches, and apples are all grown here and absolutely delicious! You can even find some house and herb plants, including succulents. Here at Critzer you will find locally grown produce, pick your own and pre-picked berries, orchard grown tree fruits, home churned ice cream, garden-ready plants, and seasonal favorites!
We came in October and all of our senses were met with the crisp air, beautiful views, cold brisk air, and melt in your mouth treats! We had warm apple cider, picked out baby pumpkins, and even saw some beautiful mums of all colors! They are very kind people and we really enjoyed doing business with them. We had some peach ice cream and it was incredible! I can’t wait until we can go again and experience other fruit seasons with this family!
We brought some food for a picnic and added some goodies from their store to complete the spread. We had a wonderful adult hang at the picnic table while our kids ran around and dipped their feet in the lake. Now in the hotter months, you can sit outside under the awnings with your cone and a lovely view of the pond and mountains.
They have been rated the best strawberries in the area with smaller, redder, and more flavor. The selection is great and they even have jams and flowers! Their farm-fresh eggs are only four dollars a dozen. It’s much less crowded during the week. People recommend going there mid-week as the fruits pick out quickly. They are open to the public from April to October.
