Eagan's Central Park Playground truly has it all for parks and amenities. 

This park is fun and super practical for the city. Located next to City Hall, it has so many amenities. From a kids playground to an adult workout area, a covered pavilion, a gazebo, a walking path, and a bandshell. This is the perfect spot to visit or even host an event. Best of all: real restrooms, a plus as a mom with littles, and for anyone thinking of hosting an event. The entire park is maintained very well. The city takes pride in keeping it clean. The walking paths and flowers are gorgeous, and the landscaping is well-maintained throughout the year. 

The adult workout area here is amazing. There are tons of activities for any adult to do. It's not close enough to the park to watch kids while they play, which is a downfall, but it's still awesome to see something focused on wellness for adults. The playground is made of wood chips, so bring closed-toed shoes. It's not a super fancy new playground set, but it's still enough to keep kids busy for an hour or so. You can sometimes find bands playing at the bandshell during the warmer months. There's some seating available for this, or you can bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. There are seating spots throughout the park and playground area for anyone visiting to sit and watch the kids play or take a break after a nice walk around the paved paths. It's a nice little addition to the city that brings the community together.
