With its lovely patio and delicious fresh food, EATalia on Hudson is a great spot for the whole family.

A go-to spot for fresh, Italian-American food. The patio provides lovely al fresco dining — on a warm day, with a warm, Neapolitan-style pizza it almost feels like you're in Italy! Inside feels like a good, old-fashion “red sauce” restaurant with red walls and various wine racks. (Just like a family dinner, it can get a little loud inside on busy nights!) On chilly, fall nights, the homemade lasagna is a crowd-pleaser, but the extensive menu offers a wide variety of options for all eaters. Gluten-free and whole-wheat pizza and pasta are also available.

Children 10 and under can also order from the kids' menu, which features cheese ravioli, chicken parmigiana, and spaghetti or ziti served with butter and parmesan or meatballs. (There’s also chicken fingers and mac ‘n cheese too.) These plates range from $9-$14.

If you’re still hungry after the main course, we highly recommend ordering the zeppoles (those delicious, deep-fried dough balls covered in powdered sugar sorta like an Italian take on a donut).

EATalia offers carry out and also accepts reservations. They’re open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and the service is friendly and fast.

EATalia on Hudson is a short drive from the ever-popular Croton Point Park. The 500 acres along the  Hudson River features two playgrounds, hiking trails, camping, fishing, and more. In the summer, there are swimming holes and beach areas to enjoy and cross-country skiing in the winter.
