Elm Avenue Playground Is from a By-Gone Era with Loads of Charm.

Located in Hanover, the Elm Avenue playground will give you some serious nostalgia. The playground itself has some pretty old equipment, but it is kept in decent shape by the city. Remember the rainbow climbing bridges? Or the wooden balance beams? How about the bouncy teeter-totters? Yep, this park has them all! There is also a large green space near the playground where the kids can bring a ball and glove or have a pick-up soccer game.

Next to the playground is a covered pavilion with a picnic table where you can snag some shade and cool-off. A few benches are scattered around the playground area, making it very easy to watch the kids. The playground is not the type where you have to worry about putting your kids in neon colors because it's so big or constantly running around to keep an eye on them!

There is also a basketball court as well as two tennis courts. Both the basketball and the tennis courts are in excellent condition and the perfect spot to hit some balls or play a game of P.I.G.!

There is not much parking available, but there are a few spots down the drive between Eichelberger Street and McCosh Street near the basketball court. There is also additional street parking along the roads surrounding the park. It's a small area where the park is tucked into, so it will not be a far walk regardless of where you park.
