Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum has 150 aircraft, spacecraft, and exhibits, playground, nature trail, and theater can keep you busy for hours.
Start by entering the Aviation Mueum (building to the left) to purchase tickets. One of the favorites from the Aviation Museum is the Spruce Goose which is the world's largest wooden airplane with a wingspan of 300 feet. The restoration team put the Spruce Goose back together and restored to its original state. The restoration team takes pride in restoring and adding aircraft that people around the world would enjoy. Not only is the Spruce Goose huge, you can also take a look inside. Guided tours are available for an extra fee. Outside food is not allowed in the museums, but there is a cafe in the Aviation Museum that has prepackaged sandwiches, chips, and bottled drinks. Bathrooms are located in the front and back of the museums with baby changing stations.
The building in the middle is the theater. Watch aviation classics or educational documentaries all day by either adding on to the museums admission or buying separately.
The farthest building is the Space Museum. Favorite of the space museum is the Titan II Space Launch Vehicle with original launch room. The Titan IIs were used during 1965 to 1966 during the Gemini program. This display is the only remaining example of Titan II SLV.
Outside you will see a playground with baby swings, big kid swings, slides, and play structure that looks like a rocket ship. There are also many planes around that you can go up to and touch. The 2-mile paved nature trail is the perfect place to walk around with or without a stroller.
Tip: you don't have to pay admission to play outside on the playground or stroll on the nature trail, but there are no bathrooms outside. Picnic tables are available so bring lunch or a snack. Also, many libraries have cultral passes that offer free admission. Check out your local library to see if Evergreen Museums are on the list.
They have a water park next door called Wings and Waves.
